Reflections on the year 2022 from Our Founder and Director, Governor Manganye

This year was undoubtedly an interesting one for the global economy. When we thought we were finally coming out of the global Covid-19 pandemic, geopolitics took centre stage, undermining economic recovery for many economies. Once again, we were reminded about how interconnected the world has become. Whether this is a good thing, remains a debate among many scholars.

With that being said, we at Think Economics have experienced a number of successes this year. With just over a year since forming, the organisation has achieved beyond the targets we had set for ourselves.

Our Founder, Nkateko Governor Manganye talks to DJ Complexion and Mpho Mashita about the need for inclusive economic policies and the participation of young people across disciplines on issues of economic policy.  #OnTheGoBreakfast on Capricorn FM
